Whiskey and Rinds….
Southern Recipe Small Batch is the perfect pairing for almost anything but whiskey is an outright hand in hand flavor friend.
August 27th is Whiskey Sour Day and the perfect time to try this old school classic with a handful of rinds.
So what’s in this classic bourbon mixer? It’s an easy recipe:
- 1 ½ oz Bourbon
- ¾ oz Fresh lemon juice
- ¾ oz Simple syrup (1 part water/1 part sugar)
- 1 Cherry
- 1 Fresh lemon wedge
Add all the ingredients together to a shaker filled with ice. Shake. Strain into a rocks filled glass. Garnish with cherry and lemon wedge.
