Small batch big taste

How to ask for what you want ... whenever ... wherever

In a time when everyone’s encouraged to find their thing, it’s never been more important to #1 find yours and #2 stand out. Don’t fall into a pack mentality. Put your life into drive ... think of it like a bag of fresh popped, handcrafted pork rinds.

Step 1: Well ... actually know what you want.
Sometimes the problem isn’t in the asking but in the conviction you have. Decide what it is you really want by defining why you want it.

Whether you’re going for a job promotion or finally asking that girl out for drinks, it’s important to tie your goal to a reason. Now you’re looking at the big picture.

Step 2: Realize what all great men realized.
Realize this: Fear is our projection of perceived future events. They haven’t played out yet. It’s possible they may never play out. So, come on! What’s holding you back from just taking the dive?

It could be your greatest failure (let’s be real, likely not) or your greatest success (more than likely). Be Zen about your whole dilemma and just live in the present moment.

Step 3: Start small.
Sometimes, asking for what you want is as simple as training your brain to make decisions in the here and now. Start small and start to define who you’ll be in everything you do. At the grocery store, toss food in your basket like Southern Recipe Small Batch Pork Rinds that say, "I don’t bend to the norm. I live by my own standards."
